Jain Dhwaja Yatra 2016 is religious trekking event organised by Shree Digamber Jain Agarwal Samaj Youth Wing on the auspicious occasion of mukut saptami of bhagwan parasnath.

On the occasion of Jain Dhwaja Yatra 2016, a Special Cover was released at a function organized by Shri Digamber Jain Agarwal Samaj Youth Wing at Shri Digamber Jain Parshwanath Upavan Mandir, Belgachia Road, Kolkata on 17th July 2016.

Special Cover on installation ceremony of Jain idols at Mithila Tirth released on 23rd February 2015.

On the occasion of installation ceremony of Jain idols at Mithla Tirth, a special cover was released on 23rd February 2015 at Sitamarhi (Bihar). This beautiful cover bears image of idols of 19th Jain Tirthankar Bhagwan Mallinath and 21st Jain Tirthankar Bhagwan Naminath.

Bhagvan Mallinath was the 19th Jain Tirthankar and the only female Tirthankara. Jain scriptures indicate Mallinath was born at Mithila into the Ikshvaku dynasty to King Kumbha Raja and Queen Prabhavati Rani. After long span of life time, she took diksha on eleventh day of the bright half of the month of Margshirsh along with 300 other men's and women each. Immediately after diksha Lord Mallinath attained (kevalgyan) salvation on constellation of Ashwini.

A Special Cover was released on the occasion of Bicentenary of Jain Swetamber Panchayati Mandir (Burra Mandir), Cotton Street, Kolkata on 24th January 2015 by Hon'ble Governor Shri Kesri Nath Ji Tripathi and Chief Postmaster General, West Bengal Mrs. Arundhati Ghosh at Kolkata. On the occasion Silver Coin (Medallion) and a set of picture postcards were also released.

Khartargachha has been known for its strict saintly order and conduct. As and when any slackening in saintly conduct crept in due to human frailities, Khartagachha Acharyas and saints performed “Kriyoddhar” and re-established the true saintly conduct order.

According to Sanskrit Kshmakalyan Charit penned by Pt. Nityanandji, Kshmakalyan ji was born in Vikram Samvat 1801 i.e. 1744 A.D. to Oswal Maioo Gotra Family in Kesardesar village near Bikaner, Rajasthan. He was named as Khusalchand.

According to “Deeksha Nandi Suchi” he was ordained as Yati by Shri Jinlabh Suri. He was ordained to monkhood at the age of 11 by Shri Amritdharma ji.

He spend his Chaturmas at Bikaner and Jaisalmer. He was asked to accede to the post of Upadhyaya by Shri Jinchandrasurji and he authored many books.
