Special Cover on Centenary Celebration of Shri Devsagar Singhi Jain Mandir, Sujangarh issued on 2nd February 2015.
Sri Devsagar Singhi Jain Mandir is located in Sujangarh, Churu District. As the name suggests, the temple was built by the ancestors of Singhi’s of Sujangarh. Construction of Singhi Jain Mandir started in the year 1905 (Vikram Samvat 1961). It took approximately ten years to build this beautiful temple that is standing proudly since its completion in the year 1915. The temple site is dedicated to Lord Parshvanath, the 23rd Jain Tirthankar.
The temple will be completing 100 years of its completion this year. Centenary celebration is being held at the temple from 31st January o 4th February 2015. On the occasion a Special Cover was released by Shri Devsagar Singhi Jain Mandir Trust to mark the Centenary of Shri Devsagar Singhi Jain Mandir on 2nd February 2015. My Stamp on the temple was also launched.
